Though Calvary and Olivet this hilltop may not be,
yet Richmond Hill, God willing, still
will be my hill with Thee,
a mount of Thy transfiguration,
this garden like Gethsemane,
these upper rooms like upper rooms,
a common sanctuary - and gathering where we
may break the bread and drink the wine.
O Holy Spirit, see!
Where we let Thee, O Holy Spirit, move so openly,
a mystery, a prophecy, a bond of charity,
this Ararat and Sinai and Zion may not be,
but may, Lord Jesus, Richmond Hill
still be my hill with Thee.
