You Are as Beautiful

You are as beautiful as words you say.
The very moment when your lips shall part,
you speak from the abundance of your heart,
and when your lips are parted as you pray,
I pray the Spirit answers you, "Today!"
For two agreed together shall impart
the will of God one cannot do apart.

You are as beautiful as words you speak,
for in your presence, how my heart was stirred
with faith by hearing, hearing by God's Word,
the Gospel you have preached to Jew and Greek,
and so our threefold cord shall not be weak,
now in obedience to God, I gird
my mind with everything that I have heard.

You are as beautiful as words you preach,
for what you preach, you walk, and so your feet
are beautiful to me each time we greet,
so beautiful, how can I not beseech
the Lord to send me one of such fair speech?
For in the love of Christ, you are complete,
a help meet for the husband you shall meet.
