When I was born, my nakedness was bared,
and when I die, my nakedness shall rot.
Whatever wealth and riches I allot
shall neither spare me death nor shall be spared
apocalyptic flames. But I have shared
the Gospel with my wife and earthly lot,
my little ones, for whom the world has not
at any moment shown Christ's love or cared.
And when our children call upon His Name,
it shall not be because my wealth is great.
The blood of Christ redeemed us from the shame
that Adam felt, and Eve. That low estate
has been abolished so we can proclaim
God wants our children when we choose to mate.
