Revival of Love: Psonnets and Other Poems of Life, Love, and the Lord

Psonnets of Friendship
Come, and Die, and Live

How happy shall he be, that taketh thee
and dasheth thee on Christ the Cornerstone,
thou harlot's wretched, child of Babylon,
for thou wert born in sin of harlotry,
and to the world, a harlot shalt thou be,
but Christ saith whosover shall fall on
this Stone is broken. Whosoever thrown
shall be as broken, cast before the Tree.
Shall ye be bride and apple of His eye?
Ye cannot, dying in your sins, and dead.
So draw ye near Him. Be ye lifted high,
and be ye dashed upon that Corner, Head
of all His covenants cut. Come, and die,
and live. Be born again of all He bled.
