Revival of Love: Psonnets and Other Poems of Life, Love, and the Lord

Psonnets of Worship
If But Five Words

In other tongues and lips, what songs are sung?
For in the spirits of the nations raise
up songs to praise Him for His acts and ways,
and horns are readied, psalteries are strung,
and timbrels, drums, and cymbals are among
the instruments ordained by God for praise
in spirit and in truth. These are those days,
and I shall praise God in another tongue.
For when I meet believers overseas,
I want to praise and worship now and then
and speak the name of Jesus Christ with ease
in other tongues interpreted by men
so what I sing, if but five words, agrees
with them in spirit when we say, "Amen."
