Where will our love be growing? in the field
with soil good and ready to receive
since faith will work by love. So I believe
our love will grow and in its season yield
the thirty, sixty, hundredfold revealed
in Jesus Christ, before Whom we will heave
the firstfruits offering. But first retrieve
my love in gleanings God has not concealed.
For God has loved you so! He gives you Truth
and speaks the truth in love, and even now
is speaking truth to me while in my youth
so I may plow in hope. Why do I plow?
so I may be like Boaz was with Ruth.
Come glean in love until we say our vows.
