Revival of Love: Psonnets and Other Poems of Life, Love, and the Lord

Psonnets of Friendship
Would You Go Again?

I ask you, if the Lord would make it plain
that you would preach the Gospel of His Son
and He would save, not many, only one,
a gleaning, not the harvest, of the grain,
would you stand tribulations, trials, and pain?
Would you have read the vision and still run
from dawn until the setting of the sun?
I ask you plainly. Would you go again?
I know if Jesus Christ again could bleed
to free more captives than He has set free,
He would! But God provides your every need
so for one convert, you can cross the sea.
Yet if you would not, would you have agreed
if He had wanted you to preach to me?
