My Father Gives Good Gifts

My earthly father set out earthly seed
because he cares about each little bird,
but was the voice a bird's or God's he heard,
that he should give provision for the need
of every bird the Father's hand would lead
near to our dwelling? When has it occurred
to him that it is written in His Word
this is the shadow of a Godly deed?
If I had asked my father bread and fish,
then he would give me in his earthly love
of all his earthly goods good gifts I wish.
So how much more my Father up above
gave me the Bread, with Blood to clean the dish,
so I could be the dwelling of the Dove.
