Forgive me, friend, if I forget to pray
about the prayer requests you wanted me
to lift in prayer today, and prayerfully
I pray my prayers in moments still today
may bless you and your ministry some way.
Though I am mindful of your ministry,
am I as prayerful as my heart could be?
You asked I pray. I pray that I obey.
I may be absentedminded in my prayers,
but present in my heart is love for you,
so I lift up your burdens, yokes, and cares
and cast them all before Christ, and renew
my mind into the mind of Christ, who bears
up burdens, yokes, and cares of my mind, too.
