Revival of Love: Psonnets and Other Poems of Life, Love, and the Lord

Psonnets of Romance
The Kisses We Have Kept

I want to lay my hands on you and bless
you with prayers passionately, yet I sigh
too deep for words, no matter how I try,
and as I strive and struggle to confess
my deep commitment to your happiness,
I open up my lips to answer why
I am so ravished by your loving eye
and let our lips so lovingly caress.
Now let us kiss each other as we kneel.
This is a prayer our Father will accept.
If we have hurt each other, let us heal
and wipe away the tears that we have wept,
and since we love each other, let us seal
our love with all the kisses we have kept.
