I pray, Lord Jesus, for this neighborhood
so those who see my badge, and do not yield,
may learn how faith has been my greatest shield,
my brethren, ministers of God to them for good,
my testimony, Jesus Christ, because You would
set free a criminal whose case has been appealed,
but whom no court nor penitentiary has healed.
His prison's bars are broken by the Cross's wood.
First and foremost, the Gospel is my beat,
so when you see me walking this patrol,
then know I am prayerwalking for your street,
to keep the peace, pursue the suspect, and console
the innocent and criminal - my duty incomplete
unless I lift before the Lord each soul.
