Revival of Love: Psonnets and Other Poems of Life, Love, and the Lord

Psonnets of Worship
Prisoners of Love

All prisoners are sentenced time to wait.
That man who takes the Bible to his cell,
professing Christ as Savior, waits as well.
For when a preacher warned him of his fate
awaiting him beyond the prison gate,
how did he testify? What did he tell?
He stood before the very gates of Hell.
But now, upon the Lord, his spirit waits.
Disciples sentenced so, and patient, place
their heart and soul's affections far above
the walls and towers which their flesh must face.
For though they won the penalties thereof,
their chapels are the garrisons of grace,
their ministers the prisoners of love.
