My love refreshes like the morning dew,
which bathes all green before the break of day
till, bathed in sunlight, dewdrops fade away.
So seems my love when I am loving you.
My love shall blossom like the flowers, too,
which bloom with tender petals colored gay
until, in harsher heat, they fade away.
So seems my love when I am loving you.
May lovers love the dew and tender shoot
bedecking in their passing ways the tree
which passes many days and still has root
as has my love for you. Now wait and see.
If you shall tarry till it bears much fruit,
so would my love in likeness seem to be.
