Revival of Love: Psonnets and Other Poems of Life, Love, and the Lord

Psonnets of Worship
My Spirit Sings

My spirit sings the praises of His ways
from sunlit dawn until the moonlit eve,
until the starlit skies above me leave
me yearning for the morning's warming rays
which vanish with the passing of the days
as age is courting death without reprieve
until I have no tears with which to grieve
beneath the tombstone where my body stays.
Be still, my flesh, so that the Lord may win
my heart before you reach your resting place
where there is no forgiveness for your sin
and no repentance worthy of His grace.
O sing, my spirit, till He takes you in
His everlasting love and His embrace!
