Read My Poetry Again

I know this booklet I have introduced
shall not in print alone, unread, resound
nor its unopened binding be renowned
when any word the Spirit has produced
must to this simple format be reduced.
But if within this volume you have found
encouragement and exhortation bound,
then let it in your heart and mind be loosed.
But if within your heart and mind you judge
these words and binding to be much too plain
or in your heart of hearts you hold a grudge
because you think I write these words for gain,
I pray some day the Holy Spirit nudge
your heart to read my poetry again.
