Where Our Voices Are Too Weak

When we are praying as the Spirit leads
with Father, Son, and Holy Ghost agreed,
the incorruptible and precious seed
is sown in hearing hearts and far exceeds
the answers to the prayers our Father heeds
since Jesus ever lives to intercede
on our behalf, to meet our every need
so we may go abroad and tell His deeds.
Who knows how far one prayer of faith can reach
in heaven and on earth when we shall speak?
The Spirit gives us utterance and speech,
but we must go abroad, to ask and seek
and knock on every door where we can preach
the Gospel where our voices are too weak.
