My house and my inheritance are yours
and all the gifts which God has given me,
but if you ask me what has bidden me
to work the fields and knock on other doors,
I ask and seek and knock because my stores
of treasures are where God has hidden me,
in Christ, Who also has forgiven me.
Forgive me if my mind is on my chores.
Prepare the bread, my bride, and wine for two.
Anoint your head, and dress in garments white.
Then whatsoever my hand finds to do,
how I will do my work with all my might,
rejoicing that you love me. I love you.
Please pray for me, and wait for me tonight.
