Where will we live? the city or the field?
It does not matter where if we are blessed,
our house built up, fields plowed, and vineyards dressed.
The Spirit has convicted us, revealed
that walls and hedges will not be our shield,
and all our enemies will be distressed
if we will bless them, though they have transgressed
against us and the covenant God sealed.
Let us be blessed, obedient, and heard
in body, basket, cattle, sheep, and more;
in going out to minister God's Word;
in coming in to close our closet door,
prayers, supplications, intercessions stirred
for friends at peace and enemies at war.
