I pray the love of Jesus root and ground me
so neither north nor south nor east nor west,
but entered in and centered in Christ's rest,
so great this cloud of witnesses around me
and compassed by the angels who surround me,
and blessed by Christ confessed, Christ manifest,
and taken with Christ's love unto Christ's breast,
I find that Jesus Christ Himself hath found me.
Now He, who loved to find me, hath refined me,
though I am tempted, stray, repent, and pray,
my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, remind me
of all Thy benefits. Why should I stray?
All my iniquities are cast behind Thee,
all my diseases healed in every way.
